8000FPS Camera

Label: BS-HSC300V1-H640V200-8000FPS

Sensor

ON Semiconductor LUPA3000

Connectors

Power

HR10A-7P-4S(73) or HR10-7P-4S(73) look like the right mating connector. Pinout is unknown, I will likely need to open the camera to determine how to wire it.

Pin Wire Color PCB Connection
1, 2 (left when looking into pins from the mating side with key up) Green CN1 pin 1
3, 4 Black CN1 pin 2

CN1 pin 1 goes through a fuse followed by a shunt diode. This makes me sad but it looks like they used shunt reverse polarity protection, not series 😢.

The fuse is marked X050F OORZ. This appears to be a PTC with part number SMD050F (product page) (0.5A hold, 1A trip). The designers are redeemed in my eyes.

Based on the diode polarity, connectivity to power filter (BNX022), and wire colors I think it is safe to say that CN1 pin 2 is GND and CN1 pin 1 is power.

Goes to Cosel MGS152405 power supply:

Model MGS152405
Input Voltage 18-36 VDC
Input Current 0.7 A typical
Max Output Wattage 15 W
Output Voltage 5 VDC
Output Current 3 A

To safely power this, I need 18-36V, 1A minimum.
